Dr. Leung graduated with Honours from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, where she was recognized upon graduation as the top student in ophthalmology. She went on to complete her residency in Ophthalmology there, followed by a Master of Science in System Leadership and Innovation. She then dedicated two years to a subspecialty in oculofacial plastic surgery at the Université de Montréal, training under world-renowned leaders in the field to acquire advanced techniques in eyelid, lacrimal, and reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Leung has been recognized with numerous awards for surgical and clinical excellence, as well as for her outstanding research contributions. She is involved in the training of medical students and residents as a Lecturer in the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto, and is a full-time Staff Physician at Michael Garron Hospital. Dr. Leung is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Canadian Ophthalmological Society, the Canadian Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons, and the Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
